KL

went to Kular Lumpur for three days on my own, so im gonna blog about my stay over in KL!

okay, KL was far. i stopped over at my cousin's hse for the night at batu pahut, then head over to Kl the next morning. 3 hrs to Batu frm Singapore, 4 hrs to KL frm Batu. phew, guess next time anywhere KL and beyond, shld've taken a plane. lol.

okay, back to topic. when i reached KL, my impression of this city is just
like singapore, just a little run down on the buildings,and vehicles. the environment there were somewhat unlike what my relatives told me: damn crowded, alot of pickpockets, beggers, etc.

the KL bus station. its usually jammed with vehicles during the weekends. i had to walk to the bus station at around this distance. (taken when im returning back home)

a trip down the mass rapid transit, KL style. where Sg has 1 kind of MRTs, KL has 4 types; monorail, train, commuters, and MRT itself. so many names lol..

and i heard that KL train quite prone to breakdowns; between the two tracks, seems like a platform for the mrt technicians. cleaverly done. lol.

a cityscape off the edge of the city, a faint Petronas and KL tower could be seen.

as the train travels nearer to central KL. cityscape looks too nice. but aiya, nvr take night scene. so wasted. lol

a foodcourt in one of the malls in KL. if i remembered correctly, its called Mid Valley Megamall.
as i wa told, Megamall, because its bigger than the other usual malls. lol -____-

as i walked around the mall, i saw this shop. i immediately took a snapshot of it, and gave a chuckle. :D

but aiya. this shop sells guanyins and bhuddas. haha.

another mall i went went to. as i walked in, the first impression i got was: suntec city!
humph. lidat alos can link huh.. haha..

acutally, wad interested me was the stucture of the mall, rather than the shops. looks comparable to one of the buildings in suntec, its squarish, i just cant remember the name liao. haha.

and that thing on the right aint the tower of bablyon of the 23rd century. its a lift. lol

as i shopped, i somehow got nearer to the twin tower. or rather, i was brought here. lols.
by the time i got out, i finally knew which shopping mall i was at. and a perculiar name which reminded me of a malay channel in Singapore. but heck, the twin towers looks stunning.

one day i shall ascend the thron.. er i mean, tower. lol ;)

as i walked around the mall (its hot out there) scampering for supper, something caught my eyes. its already extincted in Singapore, and OMG i acutally found it here! hello to waffles and root beer. i loooove A&W!! =D

alright enuough of one whole day of shopping. time to return back to my 'hotel', a walking distance from the mrt station.. and gosh, do have any idea where is it?

from the mrt station, is a visable condo among the lowly housing estates.
nope. not tat condo. its behind it. >_< and this is my hostel. by the 2nd day and i was like: wa lau. no electricity. toilet no heater also; there wasnt in the first place. had to bath from a tank of water. and its as cold as winter in the night. had karaoke sessions there. lol still fit to live in or not??

during my stay in KL, i met a friend from peneng (a she), whom i later found out a vivid Mayday fan.

and then i stumbled upon a group of chinese malaysian artistes. there was a sichuan tragedy event.

some were of campus superstar, or thery made their first singles, etc, and even some were a little younger than me.

didnt interest me much. oaky, maybe the chio bus. but my peneng friend was full of awe; like never see before lol..

and beside it was a gundam model convention. this is my language. xD

i had a chance to ascend the twin tower. one lift which has buttons THAT much. can be quite scary; imagine lift breakdown lol.

but we tourists, were only able to go up to the bridge only. wa lao, level 41 nia. but oh well, better than nothing. (its nothing really lol)

while we return back home, there was a commotion goin on. if u'd looked clser enuf, u kow what i mean. lol

Church Family Camp

though im much familiar with Batu Pahat than anything else, i have never stepped into the Katerinal Hotel before. as everyone knows, my relatives frm (maternal side) lives in Batu, so we dont really have to spent a single cent on hotels. lol
so yeah, this is also the first time ive seen Batu from an arial view, me already engrossed n the scenery le.. and Batu is soo beautiful! :D

now also not much ppl there le, cause Batu got a new mall which open just sometime last year, somewhat like our Parkway Parade, but waaayy newer.

acutally i took alot of those pics frm all 4 directions of the hotel. hmm still figuring which direction is which..

yep, Summit Shoppin Mall has been there for almost 10 years le. before it was red and yellow, it was pink - they jus painted it a couple of years ago.. the shops inside is like our Zhen Zhu Fang in chinatown.. quite old le. lol

anyway, street lights are like so random here, unlike in S'pore, where at least u see the most obvious street lights first.

benhind the Katerina Hotel. and no, the swiming pool isnt safe for swmming..

take a closer look. my Ber Ku used to live right there. the bluish color floor, opp the hotel back gate. brings back memories.. Esp Ray lol
